today, i planned to go to the mall of asia to have my pants altered because they're seriously fallinggg. i can't go through a decent day without worrying if my ass is up in the air. :))
also, since last week, mom wanted me to buy marcs and spencer stuff as christmas presents families and friends. so i decided after my last class (3:30), i'd be off to the mall.
by 2:00 P.M., i received a text from a friend telling me not to go to Makati because Glorrieta was bombed. There were a lot of people injured and a number of people died. so i decided to go to the mall the following day instead since the roads today might be busy. or worse, there might be a follow up bombing at another location. :(
since i was home during that time, i watched the news and they reported no one was dead. but 8 were injured.
after class, i headed straight home to check out the afternoon news again. now... there were 8 people found dead and 17 were injured. :( the media focused the camera on a dead woman being carried by a stretcher, she was lying on her tummy. i saw her leg was practically broken. like, her bones popped out already... :(
by 6 P.M., they announced that 89 is the head count for those injured. the number of dead people remain the same. but the police bellieves that there still might be dead people buried under the huge blocks of cement.
now, the entire metro manila is in red alert. i decided to stay home for the entire weekend. i'm not going to allow two pairs of jeans to put my life in danger!
i feel so bad for all the casualties of this incident. today was just an ordinary day for them to head to the mall and probably run errands like me. again, God gives us another reason to be very thankful and contented with what we have. we are totally blessed in more ways than one.

you're no longer a teen, miz. all those tough years you had before only made you a better person. what's great about you is you always learn from everything. and i love what you've become today.
i'm always going to be here for you, hija. no matter what the situation is. ;) it's really been a lovely three years of friendship.
